This app solves Rubik's Cubes and other puzzles! Snap a picture of your cube and ASolver will guide you through the solution in minutes. It supports a wide variety of puzzles, including the classic 3x3x3, as well as 2x2x2, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, and many more, such as the Void Cube, Ivy Cube, Skewb, Pyraminx, and Megaminx.
Even if your puzzle is incorrectly reassembled, ASolver can help fix and solve it! The app utilizes your camera for puzzle recognition, but if conditions aren't ideal (low light, glare), you can easily input the puzzle manually.
For smaller puzzles (2x2x2, 2x2x3, 2x3x3, 1x2x3, Skewb, Ivy, Pyraminx, Dino), ASolver finds the optimal solution with the fewest moves possible. Solutions for 3x3x3 and 3x3x3 Void Cubes are near-optimal (around 19 moves for a complex cube). While optimal solutions for larger puzzles (4x4x4, 5x5x5, Kilominx, Megaminx) are unknown, ASolver provides efficient solutions:
- 4x4x4: Average 48 moves
- 5x5x5: Average 83 moves
- Kilominx (with centers): Average 35 moves
- Kilominx (without centers): Average 33 moves
