WoW Celebrates Anniversary with Unclaimed Currency Bonus

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token for every 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.

The WoW 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary items. Any remaining tokens could previously be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events.

Blizzard confirmed the Bronze Celebration Token's permanent removal from the game after the event's end. To prevent unused tokens from cluttering player inventories, this automatic conversion will ensure players don't lose out on the value of their remaining tokens.

While Patch 11.1 lacks an official release date, a likely launch window emerges from observing Blizzard's recent update schedule and ongoing in-game events. Considering the Plunderstorm event (January 14th - February 17th) and Turbulent Timeways (now - February 24th), February 25th appears a plausible release date, aligning with Blizzard's typical 10-week update cycle.

This timing unfortunately means the conversion will likely postdate the second Turbulent Timeways event. However, Timewarped Badges remain valuable, usable in future Timewalking events, ensuring players can still utilize the converted currency.
