TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION): Execute standard speed communication.
TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION): Perform the fastest available communication type. Only certain vehicle OBD-II protocols support this.
¹ ISO 15765-4 CAN is the only OBD-II protocol capable of delivering up to 140 parameters per second when using an OBD-II adapter with a higher quality chip. Older OBD-II protocols may provide as few as 4 parameters per second in worst-case scenarios.
