Mecha BREAK to Unlock All Starting Mechs After Player Feedback

Author : Victoria May 06,2025

Mech BREAK, the exciting multiplayer mech game, recently wrapped up its open beta on Steam on March 16, leaving developers at Chinese studio Amazing Seasun buzzing with valuable player feedback. The game soared to new heights, peaking at over 300,000 players during the open beta and now proudly holds the position of the 5th most wishlisted game on Steam.

In response to player insights, Amazing Seasun is mulling over some significant changes, notably around the availability of Break Strikers (Mechs) and how mech modules are utilized in 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes. While the developers are considering making all mechs free from the start, they're not ready to make any firm commitments just yet. They strongly believe that a live service model is the best approach at launch and crucial for the game's long-term success.

Currently, at the game's outset, players are limited to just one Break Striker. To unlock the full roster of 12 Break Strikers, gamers must engage in numerous multiplayer matches to earn the necessary in-game currency. This can be a lengthy grind, which has sparked discussions about making all mechs available right from the start to enhance player experience and accessibility.
