MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls – First Playable Demo Unveiled at EVO 2025
The long-anticipated MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is officially making its first public playable debut at EVO 2025, set to take place from August 1–3, 2025, in the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall. Fans of both Marvel’s iconic heroes and high-octane fighting games will get their first real taste of the action at the Arc System Works booth.

In a major reveal via the PlayStation.blog on July 22, 2025, PlayStation XDEV Senior Producer Reed Baird confirmed the full scope of the playable experience:

- Ms. Marvel
- Doctor Doom
Four-person tag-team combat – a bold new twist on traditional 2v2 fighters, allowing players to build dynamic dream teams and execute complex combo chains across multiple fighters.
New York City stage – the iconic urban battleground from the game’s debut trailer returns in full visual glory, complete with environmental hazards and interactive elements.
Exclusive demo reward: All attendees who play the demo will receive a limited-edition commemorative pin to celebrate their first hands-on with the game.
🎤 Developer Combat Panel – Behind the Action
Joining the excitement, Arc System Works and Marvel Games will host a special Developer Combat Panel on August 1, 2025, at 8:00 PM PT, on the EVO Showcase Stage.
The panel will feature:
- In-depth breakdown of the game’s fast-paced 4v4 combat system
- Insights into character design, team synergies, and tag mechanics
