Debut Playable Demo at EVO 2025
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls will offer its first public hands-on demo at EVO 2025, held from August 1-3 in the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall. The eagerly awaited tag-team fighter will be showcased at the Arc System Works booth.
In a PlayStation.blog announcement on July 22, PlayStation XDEV Senior Producer Reed Baird outlined what to expect from the public demo. Players can try out six characters: Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, and Doctor Doom, assembling their own four-person dream team from the roster.
The demo will also feature the New York City battle stage, previously seen in the game's debut trailer. Attendees who play the demo will receive an exclusive commemorative pin.
Developer Combat Panel Offers Gameplay Insights
During EVO 2025, developers from Arc System Works and Marvel Games will host a Developer Combat Panel on August 1 at 8:00 PM PT on the Evo Showcase Stage. According to the announcement, they will dive deeper into the game's core combat mechanics.
The panel will be livestreamed on the official EVO Events YouTube channel. Director Kazuto "Pachi" Sekine thanked fans for their enthusiastic response to the game's reveal and encouraged them to watch the panel for more details.
He stated, "My goal is to 'Assemble' with all players and create an incredible game together. We're experimenting with many new ideas to deliver a fresh experience. I'm eager to hear your feedback and thoughts."
