Test Your Knowledge! Can You Identify These World-Famous Figures?
This app challenges you with 476 of history's most notable figures: monarchs and leaders, politicians and musicians, actors and filmmakers. Can you identify the portrait and earn all the stars in every level?
From Alexander the Great to Benjamin Franklin; from Joan of Arc to Fred Astaire; from Louis Armstrong to Winston Churchill.
It's both a history and an art quiz. The game is split into two primary difficulty Levels.
Level 1 - 123 widely recognized individuals (Julius Caesar, Alfred Hitchcock, and others).
Level 2 - 122 more challenging historical icons: Blaise Pascal, Igor Sikorsky, and other key philosophers, inventors, and rulers.
Plus, four specialized 'professional' levels:
1) Authors (William Shakespeare and Leo Tolstoy);
2) Composers (Johann Sebastian Bach and Leonard Bernstein);
3) Artists (Michelangelo and Georgia O'Keeffe) and Masterpieces: Identify the creator (e.g., see the "Mona Lisa," answer "Leonardo da Vinci").
4) Scientists (Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin).
Each level offers multiple game modes:
* Spelling quizzes (easy and hard difficulty).
* Multiple-choice questions (with 4 or 6 options). Remember, you only have 3 lives.
* Time challenge (answer as many as possible in 1 minute) - score over 25 correct answers to earn a star.
Two learning tools to explore all figures without gameplay pressure:
* Flashcards: provide a brief biography for each person and a link to their full encyclopedia entry.
* Tables listing all entries for each level.
The app is available in 24 languages, including English, French, Spanish, and German.
