Ancient Stars is a carefully designed 3v3 competitive game featuring a 2.5D combat system—2D hand-drawn heroes in 3D arenas—blending the visceral thrill of arcade brawlers with the strategic depth of classic MOBAs. It's easy to learn, fast-paced, tactically rich, and incredibly fun. Matches last around 10 minutes. The side-scrolling, lane-push gameplay has one clear goal: destroy the enemy base to claim victory.
Ancient Stars currently offers 22 distinct heroes and 9 uniquely styled skins. Each hero comes with custom voice lines, delivering an immersive experience that celebrates global artistic influences.
To bring vibrant 2D heroes and animations to life, we enlisted the Art Director from Ironhide Studio to lead Ancient Stars' visual design—the creative force behind Kingdom Rush and Iron Marines. Every hero's design and skill effect has been crafted with meticulous care! Naturally, the sound effects and BGM, composed by a talented Uruguayan artist, complete that signature atmosphere.
