War Thunder's "Firebirds" Update: New Aircraft and More!
Gaijin Entertainment has just announced the upcoming "Firebirds" update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update introduces a host of new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships, significantly expanding the game's content.
New Aircraft Taking Flight
Among the exciting additions are some iconic military aircraft: the stealthy American F-117A Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the versatile F-15E Strike Eagle.
The F-117A Nighthawk, a first for War Thunder, boasts cutting-edge stealth technology. Its unique design, employing radar-absorbing materials and angled surfaces to deflect radar waves, made it a near-invisible force in Operation Desert Storm.
The F-15E Strike Eagle, an enhanced version of the classic F-15, packs a significantly larger payload and advanced targeting systems. Players will have access to a wide array of weaponry, including AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and even the GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (20 at a time!).
Beyond the Skies: Ground and Naval Forces
The "Firebirds" update doesn't stop at aircraft. New ground vehicles include the British FV107 Scimitar light tank, while the French battleship Dunkerque strengthens the naval forces.
Aces High Season Continues
The new Aces High season is also underway, offering players the chance to unlock unique vehicles, trophies, and rewards through Battle Pass completion. This includes aircraft like the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, tanks such as the T54E2 and G6, and ships like the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.
