Vostatek's Horse Pepik Found

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, after the initial story segment, you gain access to various side quests and greater freedom of exploration. One such quest involves locating Vostatek's horse, Pepik, which yields substantial rewards upon completion.

The quest, "Lackey," begins by speaking with either Zlata at Vostatek's residence (west of Tachov) or directly with Vitek (slightly southeast of the house, marked 'B' on the map). This leads you north to where Vostatek is under wolf attack.

Finding Pepik: A Trail of Clues

After rescuing Vostatek, you'll escort him to his campsite where Pepik was tethered. However, Pepik is missing. Follow the trail of clues, carefully examining each one to continue the path. This leads to a poacher's camp.

As suspected, poachers have stolen Pepik. He's located at the rear of their camp. Strategically engage the poachers; taking them out individually or in small groups is easier than a direct confrontation. Alternatively, you can bypass the stronger poachers within the camp and escape with Pepik.

Return Pepik to Vostatek's campsite. You can then choose to fast travel with him back to his home, receiving a generous Groschen reward and access to lodging whenever needed.

With Pepik returned and your coffers replenished, you can now pursue other quests, romantic interests, or upgrade your equipment.
