Machine Yearning: A Brain-Bending Robot Job for Humans
This isn't your typical human job. Tiny Little Keys' debut game, Machine Yearning, challenges you to perform tasks usually reserved for robots, proving your human skills in a world dominated by machines.
Tiny Little Keys, an American studio founded by former Google Machine Learning Engineer and lifelong gamer Daniel Ellis, is launching Machine Yearning on September 12th.
What is Machine Yearning?
The game puts you in the role of a human applicant competing against robots. You'll need to outsmart a CAPTCHA-like system designed to detect human attempts at deception, requiring memory and processing speed comparable to a 2005-era computer.
Starting with simple word-shape associations, the game progressively increases difficulty by introducing more words and colors, demanding players retain previously learned connections.
Successfully completing the game unlocks a variety of hats to customize your robots, including archer, cowboy, and straw hats. Check out the gameplay trailer below!

Initially showcased at Ludum Dare, a prominent indie game jam, Machine Yearning won awards for "most fun title" and "most innovative title." For more information, visit the game's official website.
Available September 12th on Android, Machine Yearning is free-to-play.
