Remember Sonic Rumble? The upcoming Sonic game where Sonic and friends swap high-speed chases for chaotic Fall Guys-style party mayhem? Following its May CBT, Sonic Rumble is prepping for launch – or rather, a pre-launch rollout.
Sonic Rumble's Phased Pre-Launch
SEGA has launched Sonic Rumble in the Philippines on Android and iOS. This marks Phase 1 of the pre-launch, running throughout the summer. All gameplay data from this initial phase will be reset afterward.
Phase 2, arriving this fall, expands the pre-launch to Peru and Colombia. Phase 3 will add further regions, to be announced later.
Global pre-registration follows, anticipated by year's end or early next year. Given Fall Guys' recent success, Sonic Rumble aims for a swift launch.
Gameplay Overview
Sonic Rumble, similar to Stumble Guys and Fall Guys, features mini-games packed with zany obstacles and challenges. Play solo or team up with friends.
However, Sonic Rumble adds a unique twist: classic Sonic villains like Dr. Eggman appear to disrupt the fun. While obstacle dodging remains central, expect unexpected villain encounters.
Philippine players can download Sonic Rumble now from the Google Play Store.
