Neutronized's latest platformer, Shadow Trick, is a charming, bite-sized adventure. The creators of hits like Shovel Pirate, Slime Labs 3, Super Cat Tales, and Yokai Dungeon: Monster Games deliver another fun, free-to-play title. Shadow Trick boasts a retro 16-bit aesthetic and classic platforming gameplay.
Shadow Trick Gameplay:
You play as a wizard with the unique ability to transform into a shadow. This core mechanic is used to solve puzzles, avoid hazards, and outsmart enemies throughout the game's 24 levels. Switching between your physical and shadow forms is key to uncovering secrets and progressing.
The game features a magical castle setting with diverse biomes, hidden dangers, and challenging bosses. Collecting all 72 moon crystals (three per level) is essential for unlocking the complete ending. Beating bosses without taking damage adds an extra layer of difficulty, especially against tricky foes like the disappearing-then-reappearing red ghost.
The game's environments are varied and engaging, including water levels requiring shadow-form navigation and unique aquatic boss encounters.
