Niantic is launching a special end-of-year Catch-a-thon event in Pokémon Go, giving players another shot at catching Community Day Pokémon and earning exclusive rewards, including shiny versions of featured creatures!
This event runs December 21st and 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. Here's the lineup:
- December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet.
- December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio.
During the final ten minutes of each hour, you'll have increased encounter rates for Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. Plus, enjoy 2x XP for catching Pokémon and 2x Stardust! Many other rewards are also available. Check the official Pokémon Go website for complete details.
With significant updates like Gigantamax this year, Pokémon Go is ending 2024 with a bang. This final community event is sure to attract dedicated players despite the holiday season.
