Get ready for the first Pokémon Go Community Day of 2025! The event kicks off on January 5th, featuring the Grass-type starter, Sprigatito.
From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Sprigatito will appear much more frequently in the wild. This is your chance to catch plenty and power up your team!
Event Bonuses:
- Increased Sprigatito Spawns: Encounter Sprigatito at a significantly higher rate.
- Exclusive Move: Evolve Floragato into Meowscarada during the event (or within five hours afterward) to learn the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. Meowscarada will also permanently learn Flower Trick.
- Boosted Rewards: Enjoy triple Stardust and double Candy for every Pokémon caught. Trainers level 31 and above get double the chance for Candy XL.
- Extended Items: Lure Modules and Incense will last three hours.
- Discounted Trades: Trade Pokémon with halved Stardust costs, plus one extra Special Trade.
Special Research:
A paid Special Research story will be available for $2, offering unique rewards including a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research will also continue the fun after Community Day, giving you a week to complete tasks and earn a Sprigatito with a special Dual Destiny-themed background.
