Crafting Words in Letterlike
Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough offers a fresh set of letters and procedurally generated challenges. The possibilities are endless, leading to countless victories.
Each game starts with a letter set. Your goal: create words, earn points, and conquer levels. Each level consists of three rounds.
To advance, you must score enough points by forming high-scoring words, similar to Scrabble. However, you only have five attempts (lives) per round, so choose your words strategically.
Stuck with a less-than-ideal letter combination? Don't worry! You can discard letters, but discards are limited, requiring careful consideration.
A handy rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to optimize your word creation.
The final round of each level introduces a twist: some letters become useless, yielding zero points. Plan accordingly!
Earned points and rewards unlock helpful items to enhance your gameplay. Some buffs are automatic, while others require reaching specific levels. Collected gems unlock powerful upgrades, making future runs easier.
