Idle RPG sensation Destiny Child poised for return

Destiny Child is returning! Initially launched in 2016 and archived in September 2023, this beloved title is being revived by Com2uS, taking over development from ShiftUp.

A Fresh Start?

Com2uS and ShiftUp have partnered to create a brand-new Destiny Child experience—an idle RPG. Development will be spearheaded by Com2uS's Tiki Taka Studio, known for titles like the tactical RPG, Arcana Tactics. This reboot will reinterpret the original, retaining the beloved 2D character art and emotional core while introducing fresh gameplay mechanics.

Remembering the Past

Destiny Child's initial release captivated players with its charming characters and real-time combat. Following its closure after nearly seven years, ShiftUp released a memorial version.

While not the full game, this memorial app allows players to revisit the stunning character illustrations and fondly remember their Childs. Access is restricted to players with pre-shutdown accounts, requiring a verification code linked to their saved game data. It's a nostalgic trip, preserving the Childs and their classes, albeit without the battles. If you have access, download it from the Google Play Store—at least until the new game arrives!
