HoYoVerse is making a big splash with back-to-back announcements! Following the sneak peek at Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6, details on Honkai Impact 3rd version 7.8, titled "Planetary Rewind," have been revealed.
Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.8: Launching October 17th
Version 7.8 brings new battlesuits, events, and a plethora of rewards. Vita gets a brand-new battlesuit: Lone Planetfarer, a MECH-type Lightning DMG dealer.
Lone Planetfarer boasts a striking peacock feather-adorned Drive Core and two distinct forms. Lone Traveler utilizes a feathered loop for elegant attacks, transforming into Planet Quaker upon ULT activation to unleash laser beams. She's also protected by Astral Ring Specialization: Rite of Oblivion. The Divine Key Waxing Moon and its PRI-ARM variant, Divine Key Waxing Moon: Incipience, are also making their debut.

Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.8 Story: The First and Last War
The main story, "The First and Last War," transports players back a century to Langqiu for the Ten Shus War, featuring Vita, Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie. Expect rewards including Crystals, Source Prisms, Seele's event stigma, and a new outfit for Dreamweaver.
