David Haddad, president of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, told Variety that the project involves close collaboration with Warner Bros. Television to create a cohesive narrative. While the game is set in the 1800s, significantly before the series, it will share overarching themes and storytelling elements.
Details about the HBO series remain limited, but HBO & Max Content CEO Casey Bloys confirmed it will delve into the iconic books.
