In Genshin Impact, after assisting Bona in purifying the Abyssal Corruption from the Chu'ulel Light Core, players must help her locate the Primal of Flame. This involves offering two Pyrophosphorites (obtained during the Palace of the Vision Serpent Quest) to the Altar of Primal of Flame.
This offering opens a path to Tonatiuh, a floating island above Ochkanatlan’s Cradle of Fleeting Dreams. Reaching Tonatiuh completes the To the Sky-Road Quest and begins The Other Side of the Sky Quest, requiring the collection of four Burning Firestones to acquire the Jade of Return.
Here's how to obtain the four Burning Firestones:
Burning Firestone Location #1
Follow these steps to acquire the first Firestone:
- Collect the Common chest along the path.
- Activate the mechanism to the right of the Firestone.
- Ascend the platforms to reach the upper level.
- Defeat the enemy.
- Open the Exquisite chest atop the tower.
- Use the mechanism behind the chest to unlock the gate.
- Descent to the Saurian.
- Unlock the door.
- Tell the Little One "Let's return to the altar!"
- Return to the Altar of Primal of Flame.
Burning Firestone Location #3 (Note: Location #2 is missing from the original text and cannot be recreated)
To obtain the third Burning Stone in Tonatiuh:
- Rotate the right floating island mechanism.
- Rotate the northern floating island mechanism.
- Cross the bridge to the lower level of the northern island.
- Follow the Little One.
- Observe the Secret Source Sentinel move the third Firestone to the southwestern island.
- Proceed to the northwestern edge.
- Ride a Qucusaurus.
- Fly towards the Pyroculus.
- Activate the mechanism within the tower.
- Transform into a Qucusaurus.
- Fly to the unlocked door.
- Activate the elevator to return to the upper level.
- Interact with the Little Saurian.
- Follow it.
- Activate the Lift.
- Go to the Altar of Primal of Flame.
Burning Firestone Location #4
The final Firestone is on the northwestern island's upper level:
- Cross the northwestern bridge.
- Have Bona tilt the bridge upwards.
- Glide to the upper level of the northern island.
- Lower the Lift.
- Follow the Little One.
- Tell it "Let's return to the altar!"
- Defeat the enemy.
- Tell the Saurian to return to the altar.
- Collect the Precious chest.
- Go to the Altar of Primal of Flame.
After collecting all four Firestones and offering them to the altar, The Flowing Primal Flame Quest concludes. A cutscene ensues, transforming the Jade of Return into a Golden Entreaty. The Dragon of the City of Flowing Ash then appears, leading to The Other Side of the Sky Quest on the Nursery of Nightmares island, rewarding 50 Primogems.
