Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch
Garena is bringing the tactical first-person shooter (FPS), previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, to a global audience. A PC Open Beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile platforms following in 2025. Originally developed by NovaLogic and later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), Delta Force is now a collaborative project between TiMi and Garena.
Cross-progression between PC and mobile is a key feature. The 2025 mobile launch will cover Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
What's in Store for Delta Force Players?
Delta Force offers two distinct game modes:
- Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into four-person squads.
- Operations: A high-stakes extraction shooter mode for three-person teams. Teams scavenge for loot, battle enemies, and race against the clock to reach extraction points. Bosses, restricted areas, and special missions add to the challenge. A rare item, the MandelBrick, unlocks exclusive skins but reveals your location to other players.
Loot acquired can be used in future matches or exchanged for in-game currency. Players can also acquire enemy gear and supplies.

A Nod to the Original
Garena and TiMi's Delta Force boasts sharp, realistic graphics and maintains the tactical depth of the original 1998 release. Long-time fans will find plenty of nostalgic elements.
