Gamescom 2024 to Showcase Latest in Gaming, Including Black Ops 6

Geoff Keighley's recent Twitter (X) post confirmed that Gamescom's ONL will feature announcements of previously unannounced games, alongside updates on already-revealed titles and highly anticipated releases.

While Gamescom has already teased appearances from games including CoD: Black Ops 6, MH Wilds, Civ 7, MARVEL Rivals, Dune Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the event is expected to unveil several entirely new game reveals. The Gamescom 2024 ONL livestream begins August 20 at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET across official streaming platforms.

Confirmed highlights include the first gameplay footage of Don’t Nod’s interactive adventure, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and a new trailer for Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. THQ Nordic will also reveal a new game from Tarsier Studios, the creators of the Little Nightmares series.

Call of Duty fans can look forward to the first live playthrough of the Black Ops 6 campaign. Although Nintendo will be absent from Gamescom this year, The Pokémon Company's participation is highlighted as a key event feature.
