This update enhances the game's realism and tactile feedback through improved atmospheric effects and a more organic feel. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. Despite a slow initial sales start in May 2024, Final Fantasy XVI ultimately fell short of its projected financial year targets. Specific sales figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not released sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also underperformed expectations.
