‘Dungeons of Dreadrock 2’ Announced, Launching on Nintendo Switch in November with Mobile and PC Versions to Follow

Approximately two and a half years ago, we enjoyed the excellent dungeon crawler, Dungeons of Dreadrock, developed by Christoph Minnameier. Inspired by classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, it offered a top-down perspective and a strong emphasis on puzzle-solving within its 100 unique levels. Each level represented a floor in the dungeon you explored to rescue your brother. The game's difficulty was notable, with some levels presenting complex logic puzzles requiring strategic trap activation and enemy engagement. Our review praised the game, and it subsequently launched to critical acclaim across numerous platforms. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel: Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret.

The striking red background, prominent Switch logo, and familiar snap sound clearly signal a Nintendo Switch debut for this new Dungeons of Dreadrock installment. The game's website confirms a November 28th, 2024 release on the Switch eShop. However, PC gamers need not despair! A PC version is in development and can be wishlisted on Steam. Mobile players on iOS and Android can also look forward to the game's arrival, although precise release dates remain unannounced. We'll keep you updated as soon as further platform release information becomes available.
