Mastering the Citadelle des Morts Easter Egg in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies
The Citadelle des Morts map in Black Ops 6 Zombies presents a challenging Easter egg hunt, particularly the step involving four page fragments. This guide clarifies the process of locating and utilizing these fragments.
Locating the Page Fragments
Before embarking on your search, ensure you've completed these crucial steps to improve fragment spawn rates:
- Activate Pack-a-Punch on Citadelle des Morts.
- Interact with Professor Krafft through the closed door in the Dungeon.
With these prerequisites met, the fragments should appear. If not, try the following:
The four page fragments are always located within the Sitting Room (containing Stamin-Up) or its adjacent Passage. They appear as small pieces of paper, each bearing a unique symbol. Potential spawn locations include:
- Near the vase by the torch in the Sitting Room Passage.
- Between lit and unlit torches to the left of the previous location.
- On the ruined corner wall of the Passage.
- On the TVs near Stamin-Up.
- On the couch in the Sitting Room.
- Next to the static-filled TV.
- By the fireplace near the bunk beds.
- On the bunk beds themselves.
- On the end table or desk near the bunk beds.
- On the floor or crates in the Passage.
- Next to the rope bundle near a torch and boxes in the Passage.
If you're having trouble, systematically interact with all surfaces in the Sitting Room and Passage using your interact button. Repeatedly pressing and releasing should reveal the fragments.
Utilizing the Page Fragments
Once all four fragments are collected, proceed to the Undercroft. Use the Melee Macchiato perk's powerful fist attack to break the wall concealing a book. This reveals a symbol puzzle.
Solving the puzzle spawns a red orb. Interact with the orb to add the fragments to the book. Note the symbols' order (top-left, bottom-left, top-right, bottom-right). Each symbol corresponds to a Point of Power Trap. Activate each trap in order, obtaining kills within it until it deactivates. Successfully completing each trap will extinguish its corresponding symbol on the book, completing this stage of the Easter egg.
