In Destiny 2's annual Dawning event, players bake treats for NPCs using gathered ingredients. While recipes often repeat, new ones occasionally appear. This guide details crafting the Neomun-Cake.
Neomun-Cake Ingredients
To bake a Neomun-Cake, you'll need:
- Vex Milk (from defeating Vex enemies)
- Dark Frosting (from defeating enemies using Stasis or Strand abilities/weapons)
- 15 Dawning Essence (earned through various in-game activities)
Dawning Essence is readily acquired through normal gameplay, weekly, and daily activities. For Vex Milk and Dark Frosting, equip Stasis or Strand weaponry (abilities also work). Nessus is ideal for Vex farming, either through exploration, Lost Sectors, or Strikes (though exploration or Lost Sectors are likely faster).
Crafting the Neomun-Cake
Once you've collected all ingredients, open your inventory and select Eva Levante's Holiday Oven 2.4. Select the Neomun-Cake recipe to begin crafting.
The Dawning often involves delivering baked goods to various NPCs. The Neomun-Cake is a requirement for some quests, such as the Cookie Delivery Helper quest (which also needs older recipes like Lavender Ribbon Cookies).
