Dead Island 2's Patch 6 introduces thrilling new game modes and content!
This significant update adds a challenging New Game Plus (NG+) mode, allowing players to replay the entire game with increased difficulty, retained inventory, a boosted character level, extra skill slots, new weapons and skins, and a higher level cap. Prepare to face the Revenants – formidable new zombie variants that significantly increase the difficulty.
The developers describe the Revenants as enhanced Apex zombies with altered behaviors and abilities designed to present a substantial challenge. All weapons in NG+ are more powerful than their base game counterparts, with a greater number of fixed-rarity weapons to discover.
Adding to the excitement is the new "Neighborhood Watch" horde mode, a unique blend of horde and tower defense gameplay. Players must defend their base over five in-game days, battling waves of enemies and completing objectives to earn valuable gear.
