Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a highly anticipated crossover. While the collaboration was well-received, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked fan speculation. Many explored potential marketing motives from CD Projekt Red. The explanation, however, is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's lore expert and decision-maker for this crossover, clarified the choice. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. Opting for the female V was a practical choice, given Johnny's male character, and also a personal preference for Mills.

Therefore, no grand conspiracy; simply a pragmatic decision. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the earlier inclusion of John Wick.
