Niantic has revealed Ralts as the star Pokémon for January's Community Day Classic! This guide details the event, bonuses, and in-app purchase options.
January's Community Day Classic: Ralts Takes Center Stage
Mark your calendars! On January 25th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time), Ralts will be appearing more frequently, significantly increasing your chances of encountering a Shiny Ralts.
A special research story focused on Ralts is available for $2 USD. Completing this research unlocks rewards including a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and three encounters with Ralts featuring Dual Destiny-themed Special Backgrounds.
Evolving your Ralts into Kirlia during the event (or within the five-hour post-event window) will grant Gardevoir or Gallade the powerful Charged Attack "Synchronoise" (80 power in Trainer Battles, Gyms, and Raids).
Timed Research offers additional rewards: 4 Sinnoh Stones and an encounter with a Ralts featuring a Dual Destiny-themed Special Background. Unlike the main Community Day event, this research will be available for a full week after the event concludes.
