The Pokémon Company has announced a special collection of merchandise commemorating the 25th anniversary of Pokémon Gold and Silver. This exciting range, encompassing everything from home goods to fashionable apparel, will debut at Pokémon Center stores across Japan on November 23, 2024. International availability is yet to be confirmed. Pre-orders begin November 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. JST via Pokémon Center Online and Amazon Japan.

Prices range from 495 Yen (about $4 USD) to 22,000 Yen (approximately $143 USD). Highlights include stylish Sukajan jackets (22,000 Yen) featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia designs, Day Bags (12,100 Yen), 2-piece plate sets (1,650 Yen), and an assortment of stationery and hand towels.

Originally released in 1999 for the Game Boy Color, Pokémon Gold and Silver revolutionized the Pokémon world with groundbreaking features. Praised for their innovation, these games introduced a dynamic in-game clock affecting Pokémon appearances and events, and expanded the Pokémon roster with 100 new Gen 2 Pokémon, including beloved characters like Pichu, Cleffa, Hoothoot, Chikorita, Umbreon, Ho-Oh, and Lugia. The games' legacy continued with the 2009 Nintendo DS remakes, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
