Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Issues: Fixing the "Join Failed" Error
Many Black Ops 6 players are encountering a frustrating "Join Failed Because You Are on a Different Version" error, preventing them from joining friends' games. This usually indicates an outdated game version.
The first troubleshooting step is to check for updates. Return to the main menu and allow the game to update automatically. However, this doesn't always resolve the problem.
If the error persists, restarting the game is the next logical step. This forces a fresh update check. While this means a short delay, it's a simple fix worth trying.
