The free-to-play RPG AFK Journey receives regular seasonal content updates, introducing new maps, storylines, and heroes. The upcoming season, "Chains of Eternity," is set to launch.
Chains of Eternity Release Date
The global version of AFK Journey will unlock the Chains of Eternity season on January 17th. Other regions and servers will gain access once their server reaches 35 days of age and players meet these prerequisites:
- Reach Resonance Level 240.
- Complete all pre-season AFK stages.
Meeting these requirements and having a server older than 35 days ensures simultaneous access to the new season.
Chains of Eternity: New Content
Chains of Eternity brings significant additions to AFK Journey, including:
- New heroes: Lorsan (Wilder), Elijah and Lailah (Celestial)
- New boss: Illucia (Dream Realm)
This season also introduces gameplay adjustments: a daily cap on AFK progress, Paragon level revisions, and Exclusive Equipment enhancements. Paragon levels will have a more substantial impact, and upgrading Exclusive Equipment from +15 to +20 receives a significant boost. This means investing in Supreme+ units yields greater returns, though the investment cost increases considerably.
