Vote for Your Favorite Like a Dragon Merchandise! (Until March 21, 2025)
December 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the Like a Dragon (LAD) series, and Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is letting fans play a key role in the festivities! A special fan vote is underway, allowing players to select their favorite in-game items to be transformed into real-world merchandise.
Over 100 items are up for grabs, ranging from the unexpected (lingerie, incense, mahjong tiles) to the iconic (Kiryu's dragon mask, a karaoke microphone, even 20th-anniversary sake!). The top choice will be made into real merchandise within the next two years.
Voting opened February 8, 2025, and runs until March 21, 2025. One vote per day is allowed. Following the voting period, a separate survey will determine the final design of the winning item.
Could More Yakuza Remakes Be on the Horizon?
RGG Studio first hinted at their 20th-anniversary plans in a December 8, 2024, Twitter (X) post celebrating their 19th anniversary. Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama expressed his gratitude to fans and teased upcoming events and announcements.
The anniversary celebrations kick off with the release of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 20, 2025. While further details on other anniversary events remain under wraps, the studio's 10th-anniversary celebration (which included the announcement of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami remakes) offers a tantalizing glimpse of what might be in store. Fans are certainly anticipating big things!
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii PC Requirements

RGG Studio announced the PC requirements for LAD: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on Twitter (X) on February 10, 2025. The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent, making the game accessible to most modern gaming PCs.
Given the game's release on previous-generation consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), PC requirements are relatively modest. RGG Studio also confirmed Steam Deck verification.
SEGA recently released a story trailer on YouTube, showcasing Majima's high-seas adventure, narrated by Pirate King Raymond Law (voiced by wrestling star Samoa Joe).
