Although optional, this quest is highly recommended. One of Wuthering Waves' Nightmare Echoes is trapped within Fagaceae Peninsula's stormy ruins, making this quest a necessary step for completion. Be prepared; it's a lengthy adventure, so equip your strongest Resonators.
Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough
This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the ruined Lumiscale Construct south of Shores of Last Breath. The quest objectives are:- Charge three steles at designated locations.
- Return and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Chase and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.
Charging the Steles
Stand on the glowing circle at each altar to charge the Discipline Steles. Enemies disrupt charging, so eliminate them quickly. Stepping away from the altar drains energy. Utilize the improved elemental damage and status effects from the 2.0 update to your advantage. For the third stele set, position yourself correctly to activate the prompt and pull the broken steles into place before enemies spawn.
Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct
Use your strongest Resonators to attack the Lumiscale Construct after returning to the starting area. A cutscene triggers when its health is low, prompting you to follow it deeper into the ruins. The environment becomes more hazardous during the chase—watch out for falling debris and lightning, and defeat all enemies. A final confrontation with the Construct awaits.
Defeating the Dragon of Dirge
The Dragon of Dirge is a formidable foe; its attacks can easily stun or one-shot characters. Evade its breath and falling star attacks, focusing on staggering it quickly. Wait for its major attacks to end before countering.
Completing this fight finishes the quest, unlocking access to Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
