Just as you're getting to grips with everything in version 2.3, Wuthering Waves is already preparing for its next major update. Titled "Lightly We Toss the Crown," version 2.4 launches on June 12th and is filled to the brim with new content: fresh storylines, additional Resonators, an entirely new region, and a full schedule of events and rewards.
Let's begin with the two new Resonators—Cartethyia and Lupa. They will be featured in their own convenes, "Dance in the Storm’s Wake" and "Roar of Triumph," alongside the new weapons Defier’s Thorn and Wildfire Mark.

The main quest continues with Chapter II: Acts V and VI—"Shadow of Glory" and "Flames of Heart"—bringing new narrative developments that extend into Septimont, the update's new region. Along with the change in scenery come fresh exploration events like Septimont Travel Atlas and The Everglorious Summit, plus themed activities such as the photo-hunting challenge Uncovering Past Heroes.
You can also log in to claim 10 free Radiant Tides through the Gifts of Grand Opening event, while the 7-day login event Gifts of Applause offers even more rewards. Echo enthusiasts have plenty to look forward to, too, with new Echoes like Spectro Drake and Lioness of Glory joining the roster, along with Phantom Echoes including Cuddle Wuddle and Fae.
Two new Sonata Effects—Windward Pilgrimage and Flaming Clawprint—are also being added, offering fresh synergy options for Aero and Fusion builds. For those interested in cosmetics, two new outfits are coming: Laurel Nymph for Changli and Splashing Summer for Carlotta.
Finally, combat-focused players can take on the high-stakes challenges of Tactical Hologram: Kelpie and the new permanent mode, Banners Never Fall.
