Warframe: 1999's March Update: Techrot Encore Brings Boy Band Bosses and More!

Get ready for a blast from the past (and the future!) as Warframe: 1999 receives its Techrot Encore update this March. Digital Extremes' recent devstream revealed a massive content drop, including the highly anticipated 60th Warframe, Temple, alongside four new Protoframes. But that's not all!

Prepare to face a new breed of Lich adversary: the Technocyte Coda, better known as the boy band On-Lyne. Fans of the pre-release ARG will remember these seemingly harmless pop stars. Now, they're back – and they're ready to fight.

To combat this new threat, players will receive a powerful arsenal of new weapons: four Scaldra weapons offering diverse combat options. Furthermore, the update includes refinements to the Romance & Relationships system, a new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin, and of course, the aforementioned Protoframes and Warframe.

Warframe: 1999's unique Y2K aesthetic continues to charm, and the "boy band turned cybernetic monsters" enemy concept is undeniably captivating.

Before the March update arrives, there's plenty to keep players busy. Starting February 6th, the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast returns, alongside new skins and Nightwave Vol. 8, offering additional rewards.
