If you're a fan of Lionheart Studio's hack-and-slash roguelike Valhalla Survival and have been seeking fresh content, you're in for a treat. The developers have just launched an update featuring three new heroes and an additional skill known as Ballista.
The new heroes include Mani, the Guardian of the Night. As a Warrior, he unleashes golden flashes to strike multiple foes, while his gigantification ability boosts both defense and attack. Next is Idis, a Sorceress who weaves fate. She can summon the mythical tree Yggdrasil to reduce incoming damage and restore health to nearby allies.
Lastly, meet Sol, the Lightbringer Rogue. She calls upon Valkyries (sometimes humorously called 'the sun's warriors') to fire volleys of arrows and control the battlefield by suppressing enemies. You'll appreciate their support, especially with the introduction of the challenging Nightmare Mode.
NightmarishWhat exactly is Nightmare Mode? In short, it's an escalated difficulty tier unlocked after completing Chapter 3, Stage 30. Prepare for intense trials that will test your skills to the utmost. Once you're ready, you can tackle the newly added Eternal Battlefield boss raid, which is now live.
Thankfully, you'll have access to the Ballista skill, designed to aid close-range fighters. It deploys a turret that fires long-range piercing arrows. Additionally, the update introduces the Accessory Gem Socket System, allowing you to socket gems into accessories as well as other gear.
