The Pokémon GO Fashion Week: Taken Over event, running from January 15th (12 AM) to January 19th (8 PM) local time, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai, the Gen IX Poison/Normal-type Pokémon, to the game. Shroodle will hatch from 12km Eggs, evolving into Grafaiai with 50 Shroodle Candy.
This event also features:
- Increased Team GO Rocket activity: Expect more appearances at PokéStops and in balloons. Charged TMs will help Shadow Pokémon unlearn Frustration.
- Snapshot encounter: Take a snapshot to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk.
- Shadow Pokémon encounters: New Shadow Pokémon including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby will appear.
- Shadow Raids: One-star raids will feature Shadow Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Totodile, and Ralts. Three-star raids will include Shadow Electabuzz, Magmar, and Wobbuffet. Remote Raid Passes are usable for the first time in these raids.
- Special Research: A new Special Research story arc allows players to rescue Shadow Palkia.
- Field Research: Tasks will reward Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs.
- In-game bonuses: Collection Challenges, Showcases, and a 300-coin bundle (Incubator, Rocket Radar, Premium Battle Pass) will be available.
Beyond Fashion Week, the Corviknight line debuts January 21st, a Shadow Raid Day is imminent, and a Classic Community Day featuring Ralts is scheduled for January 25th. Prepare for a busy few weeks in Pokémon GO!
