In *League of Legends* (*LoL*), the Demon’s Hand card game has become the latest buzzworthy minigame. If you're diving into this new challenge, you'll want to know all about Sigils, as they are crucial for enhancing your gameplay and progression.
What Are Sigils in the Demon’s Hand in LoL?
Sigils are special stones that provide you with powerful bonuses in the Demon’s Hand. You can equip up to six Sigils at any given time, each offering unique effects that can turn the tide of battle in your favor. These effects might boost your hands or weaken your opponents, helping you preserve your health as you progress through the minigame. Sigils automatically activate their effects when you play a hand that meets their criteria.

The arrangement of your Sigils can be strategic, especially when facing different opponents on the map. Each opponent may have unique effects that can alter your gameplay, such as modifying how certain suits contribute to damage or changing damage thresholds based on the number of cards you play. Some opponents can even nullify the effect of your first Sigil, making the topmost Sigil in your box inactive during that battle. To counter this, consider rearranging your Sigils before engaging in combat to ensure that the deactivated Sigil isn’t one critical to your strategy.

Obtaining Sigils is straightforward: you can buy them at the Sigil Shop, which is marked on the map by two coins. When you visit, you'll be presented with a choice of three Sigils, varying in both strength and cost. If the options don't suit your needs or budget, you can refresh the shop for one coin to view a new set of Sigils. Additionally, if your Sigil box is full and you want to make room for a new purchase, you can sell unwanted Sigils at the shop.
For those engaged in the Demon’s Hand in *LoL*, understanding and utilizing Sigils effectively can significantly enhance your gameplay experience. If card games aren't your cup of tea, keep an eye out for the upcoming April Fools skins to add some fun to your time on Summoner’s Rift.
