After the March 10th Fields of Mistria update, the Fire Seal is finally accessible after completing the preceding altars. Unlocking it requires four offerings: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Let's break down how to obtain each.
Finding the Faceted Rock Gem

This rare artifact is located within the Fields of Mistria mines, specifically on floors 50-59 (we found one on floor 56). Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth it from marked ground spots. Be prepared for some digging—it's a relatively uncommon find.
Locating Rockroot

Rockroot is a more common forageable plant found on the same mine floors (50-59). If you've spent time mining, you might already have one. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image.
Acquiring an Emerald

Emeralds are the easiest to obtain. They're found in geodes on mine floors 50-59 and are relatively common. You can also find them by breaking large boulders in Mistria, purchase them cheaply (200 tesserae) from Balor's Wagon, or craft them at the Stone Refinery (unlocked via the March 2025 update).
Obtaining the Sealing Scroll

The Sealing Scroll is obtained through a quest triggered by speaking with Juniper after discovering the seal. You'll need to commission Balor to acquire it. This requires:
- 10 Silver Ingots
- 10 Rubies
- 10 Sapphires
- 10 Emeralds
These materials are commonly found in the mines. Once collected, deposit them in the bin near Balor's Wagon.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
Once you have the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot, return to floor 60 of the mines and make your offering. This will unlock the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and more content during Early Access.
Note: Fields of Mistria is currently in Early Access; content is subject to change. The above information is accurate for Version 0.13.0 and will be updated as needed.
Fields of Mistria is available now on Steam Early Access.
