Pretty Derby is part of the Umamusume Project, which began in Japan in 2016. It has grown into a comprehensive franchise featuring anime series, manga, music, and more. The central characters are girls inspired by real-life racehorses.
In the game, you step into the role of a trainer. It combines sports simulation with idol management and emotional storytelling. You'll recruit various trainees and support characters.
You'll then guide them through an intricate training system focused on developing their stats and building personal connections. Your ultimate objective is to win the prestigious Twinkle Series championship.
Races feature up to 18 Umamusume competing simultaneously. Each event includes live commentary, energetic crowd reactions, and concludes with a victory concert performance by the winning competitor.
