No big surprises here. Beryl, Gloria, Inanna, and Col are prime reroll targets for a strong start. Beryl and Col are top-tier DPS characters, with Beryl slightly outperforming due to her Destroyer-type advantage against most types, except Watchers. Col's rogue abilities allow her to strike from the side or rear, potentially acting twice if she kills an enemy, making her gear choices crucial for boosting attack and crit rate.
Gloria and Inanna excel as support characters. Gloria can also serve as a primary DPS with her powerful Flag buffs, knockback abilities, and high damage output. Inanna is the go-to dedicated healer, summoning the Guard of the Princess, a controllable tank that can absorb hits and help meet battle objectives.
Edda, introduced in the global version, is a vital support for magical teams, enhancing their potential in Weaponry Trial I for easier Legendary weapon farming. Cocoa, added in September 2024, is an excellent tank replacement for Maitha, offering utility through healing, buffs, and debuffs, reaching her full potential at five stars.
Saffiyah and Auguste, known from CN and TW tier lists, are considered among the most powerful characters. Saffiyah, a versatile Seeker, can summon minions, heal, and deal damage while evading hits. Auguste, the best auto-play character, also stands out as the top Breaker DPS, essential for any team composition.

Dantalion and Magnus form a formidable duo, with strong attack buffs enabling them to tackle PvE stages effectively. Magnus is a valuable tank, particularly if you lack Cocoa. Dantalion's kit focuses on self-buffs, making him a resilient DPS who can turn the tide even if the rest of the team falls.
Nonowill provides essential support through buffs and debuffs, while also being a mobile attacker. Simona, added in late August 2024, is a battlemage who can freeze and slow enemies while dealing significant damage, perfect for magic-based teams alongside Edda.
Rawiyah (Alt) and Saffiyah (Alt) are strong additions. Rawiyah offers more utility and high damage, including AoE capabilities and self-healing. Saffiyah (Alt) is a potent debuffer, decreasing enemy attack while buffing allies and dealing damage.
B-Tier
Maitha is a versatile tank who can also deal damage and heal, serving well as a starter tank before being replaced by better options like Magnus or Cocoa. Rawiyah is a solid early-game DPS with AoE capabilities and self-healing, helping you progress through initial levels.
C-Tier
These characters, while considered less efficient, are not inherently bad. Teadon, for instance, can be a decent tank with high defense and frontline durability. Most C-tier characters are suitable for early game but are likely to be replaced as you acquire higher-tier units.
Best Epic Characters to Invest In
Not everyone will have the patience or luck to secure all S-Tier units. Fortunately, there are powerful Epic characters that can serve as effective placeholders and even carry you to the endgame.
Role | Character |
---|---|
Rogue | Crimson Falcon |
DPS | Tempest, Stormbreaker |
Mage | Darklight Ice Priest, Abyss, Butterfly |
Tank | Suppression |
Healer | Angel |
Crimson Falcon has been a standout rogue, carrying teams until better options like Col are obtained. Her mobility and damage potential are enhanced by the game's frequent Memory Shard drops for her, making her the first character many players max out.
Tempest and Stormbreaker are reliable frontline DPS choices, especially if you're missing Gloria. For mages, consider Darklight Ice Priest and Abyss, the former excelling in ranged ice damage and slowing enemies, while Butterfly offers utility similar to Fire Emblem's Dancer, providing minor heals and position swaps.
Suppression and Angel are your go-to tank and healer, respectively. If you're committed to Maitha, you might bypass Suppression, but without Inanna, Angel's strong healing capabilities are crucial for keeping your team alive while you save up for more pulls.
