In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, surviving the Zone's dangers requires top-tier gear, and the SEVA-V suit is a prime example. This valuable piece of armor, part of the coveted SEVA series, is surprisingly easy to obtain early in the game—and it's free! Its high PSI protection makes it a lifesaver, especially in the game's early stages. Here's how to get your hands on it.
Acquiring the SEVA-V Suit in Stalker 2
The SEVA-V suit awaits you at the Scientist Helicopter location, nestled in the Rostok region's southwest corner, near the Rostok base. You'll find a crashed helicopter amidst an Electro anomaly, and a large, rusty crane nearby. The suit itself is perched atop this crane, requiring a bit of climbing.
Reaching the Suit: Climbing the Crane
Upon arriving at the Scientist Helicopter location, you'll see the crashed chopper and a ladder leading up the crane. Before tackling the climb, use your artifact detector to snag an Electro-type artifact from the anomalous field near the helicopter—a helpful precaution.
Once you've secured the artifact, climb the crane. At the top, head right and traverse the crane to the operator's cabin on the left.
Locating and Utilizing the SEVA-V Suit
Inside the operator's cabin, you'll discover a bag containing valuable supplies and, most importantly, the SEVA-V suit. Carefully make your way back down the crane.
The SEVA-V suit can be upgraded by Screw, the technician at the Rostok base. It boasts four artifact slots and offers excellent radiation and decent PSI protection. If you already have superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can fetch a hefty sum of coupons.
