Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unveiled an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing Spider-Woman and the first Eidol Champion of 2025, Lumatrix. This update brings a fresh wave of quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, offering players a chance to earn valuable rewards.
Spider-Woman swings into the game on April 17th, leveraging her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage expertise to enhance The Contest. On the other hand, Lumatrix, a dazzling yet dangerous assassin created by The Founders, makes their debut on April 9th. To add Lumatrix to your roster, you'll need to gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. The event to collect these runs until June 4th.

Lumatrix's abilities go beyond mere aesthetics; their light manipulation powers hide a deadly intent. Meanwhile, the new Spy Games quest introduces a thrilling storyline featuring Black Widow, who teams up with Spider-Woman to delve into the mysterious arrival of the Eidols. This espionage-filled event runs from March 9th to May 7th, promising danger and deception at every turn.
Adding to the excitement, Deadpool joins the fray with Red & Dead’s Discount Shed from April 25th to May 2nd, offering special rewards, event currency, crystals, and bonuses, thanks to Red Guardian's persuasion. Following this, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th gives players a chance to acquire valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.
Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, inspired by the Thunderbolts, runs from April 18th through May 2nd, shaking up the seven-day supply drop. Achieving milestones during this event earns you Poolshields, which can be exchanged for rewards at Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, ensuring more free rewards for regular logins.
