Even a casual glance at the awe-inspiring presence of Elden Ring's renowned player, Let Me Solo Her, can humble the mightiest Tarnished. Yet, this formidable warrior faced significant challenges against one of FromSoftware's toughest adversaries, Bloodborne's Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her first gained fame in the Elden Ring community in April 2022, adopting the guise of a loincloth-wearing, jar-headed messiah. He provided crucial assistance to numerous players struggling with the game's notorious optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
By his own account, he has since dedicated over 1,200 hours to the game, facing Malenia thousands of times. His dedication has cemented his legendary status within the Elden Ring community, culminating in FromSoftware sending him an actual sword as a tribute to his contributions.
In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared his experience after acquiring a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest. This allowed him to finally explore the fan-favorite game, Bloodborne. Despite his extensive experience with FromSoftware titles, he encountered significant difficulties with some of Bloodborne's most challenging boss encounters.
Adjusting to the transition from Elden Ring's 60 frames per second (fps) to Bloodborne's 30 fps, along with the game's heavy atmosphere, and even succumbing to the clinic's werewolf (a common rite of passage for many players), Let Me Solo Her documented his complete journey through Bloodborne, including its DLC.
"Finally, I met the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game with a DLC features that ultimate boss who feels overwhelmingly powerful," he remarked. "We had Promised Consort Radahn in Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael in Dark Souls 3, and Manus, Father of the Abyss in Dark Souls 1. Orphan of Kos was that boss for Bloodborne.
"This boss required more attempts than any other I've faced, prompting me to delve into Chalice Dungeons off-stream to farm Blood Vials and bullets just to keep up," Let Me Solo Her explained (courtesy of GamesRadar+). "Without a doubt, he's the hardest boss in Bloodborne for me."
