Tactical Adventures has released a free demo for Solasta 2, their upcoming turn-based tactical RPG within the Dungeons & Dragons universe. This follow-up to Solasta: Crown of the Magister lets players create a four-hero party and explore the land of Neokhos, facing an ancient evil while seeking redemption. Choices significantly impact the narrative, offering considerable player agency.
The demo includes core features from the original Solasta, such as tactical turn-based combat, extensive character customization, and dynamic NPC interactions. A helpful "Helpful Dice" feature, enabled by default, mitigates bad luck streaks but can be disabled for veteran players. Clever use of the environment is key to tactical success.
Players can enjoy solo or cooperative multiplayer gameplay, similar to Divinity: Original Sin. The demo provides a taste of the diverse class-based challenges and encounters awaiting in the full game. Tactical Adventures welcomes player feedback to shape the final release.
The game's system requirements are modest: at minimum, an Intel Core i5-8400 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and either an NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580 GPU are needed for optimal performance.
