As a reminder, the setting for Silent Hill f is the 1960s in Japan. The story is being crafted by Ryukishi07, a celebrated Japanese writer renowned for his work on the cult classic visual novels Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Umineko no Naku Koro ni.
According to earlier statements from Konami, Silent Hill f aims to offer a fresh perspective on the Silent Hill series by blending traditional psychological survival horror with elements of Japanese culture and folklore.
Despite the positive reception of the recent Silent Hill 2 Remake, fans of the series have been eagerly awaiting something entirely new. While the release date for Silent Hill f remains undisclosed, fans won't have to wait much longer for more updates.
