This beginner's guide will illuminate the core game mechanics and game modes that will empower your account's progression. Let’s delve in!
Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Scarlet Girls
In Scarlet Girls, the core gameplay is designed as an Idle experience, ideal for players seeking a casual gaming retreat. Combat operates on a turn-based system, where actions are dictated by the Speed stat of allies and enemies alike. Each round concludes once all participants have acted. You can deploy up to 5 characters in battle, and the game simplifies team management with features like Quick Dispatch, which auto-configures your formations based on your strongest characters. Once your squad is set, you can sit back and enjoy the visually stunning animations that accompany each character's special abilities.
Your characters, referred to as "Stellaris" in the game, boast powerful active and passive abilities that are automatically utilized during combat. These skills come with cooldown timers, requiring strategic squad composition to ensure continuous effectiveness. The game's combat is real-time, with no manual interference during battles; thus, the key to victory lies in the strength of your characters and the strategic line-ups you create to amplify their capabilities.
Each Stellaris is categorized into one of four classes, each with unique utility:
- Paladins – Boast the highest armor stat, acting as frontline defenders to absorb enemy attacks and protect their squad.
- Support – Equipped with healing and supportive abilities, these Stellaris offer crucial utility from the backline.
- Devastator – Masters of heavy firepower, these Stellaris are engineered to deal massive energy damage, decimating foes.
- Assaulter – Skilled in bladed combat, these Stellaris specialize in delivering lethal physical damage to dismantle and defeat their targets.
Echo – The Gacha System of Scarlet Girls
Recruiting Stellaris is facilitated through the Echo system, a gacha mechanic that introduces characters of varying rarities: R, SR, SSR, and SSR+. The rarity of a Stellaris not only signifies their strength through higher base stats like Attack, Defense, and HP but also their access to more potent abilities that can turn the tide of battle when strategically deployed.
At the global launch, players can participate in the "Normal Echo" banner, which offers R to SSR Stellaris. You can use Echo tickets or Diamonds to summon on this banner, with a guaranteed SSR character within 40 summons. Each summon also awards 20 echo points, and accumulating 2000 points allows you to summon a random SSR character from one of the four elemental banners (excluding Nebula). The recruitment probabilities are as follows:
- R Stellaris – 19.979% chance per individual R character
- SR Stellaris – 2.667% chance per individual SR character
- SSR Stellaris – 0.133% chance per individual SSR character
- SSR+ Stellaris – 0.010% chance per individual SSR+ character
