The Sony Bravia XR X93L was released in March 2023. Positioned as the second-highest non-OLED TV in Sony's lineup at the time, it sits just below the X95L, which was exclusively available in an 85" size in the U.S. The X93L leverages Mini LED technology, which significantly enhances HDR content. This technology uses an array of LEDs that can be turned on and off independently, boosting black levels and contrast ratios. With Mini-LED, the smaller and more numerous LEDs provide finer control over brightness within scenes, resulting in a superior viewing experience.
