Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rainbow Six Siege's newest addition: Rauora, an attack operator hailing from New Zealand. A key element of her kit is the DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorways. While indestructible by small arms fire, explosives can destroy it. A unique feature is its trigger mechanism; friendly fire opens it instantly (one second), while enemy fire requires a three-second delay – a significant advantage during defuser plants.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. She can also equip either the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.
Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the next week, with a full release to follow.
